Factors affecting the quality of LVT flooring

Update:2019/4/24 16:15:02 Views:61

The use of LVT flooring in residential and commercial locations has been widely recognized. New homes are installed at home, and LVT floors are often seen in commercial applications such as health centers, schools and hotels, and other applications. There is no doubt that the style of the LVT floor is better, and most of them are very convenient in terms of installation and maintenance. LVT floor design can be almost copied to any style, but wood and stone are the most popular.

Most LVT floors on the market incorporate a lock-and-lock system. Some of them have self-adhesive functions, while others can be glued directly to the base floor. Some of them have stabilizers, and some do not. There are also some flooring that add special base materials for certain special properties.

Sometimes the locking system of the LVT floor fails, usually under the swivel chair. According to our experience, similar scenes always occur in the dentist's or doctor's office because they always sit on the swivel chair and move around on the floor. This is so because the base layer of the floor does not match the floor itself and the mounting system of the product. Therefore, if you are not sure whether the installation system is feasible, you can first confirm it by performing a corresponding physical simulation experiment. Specifically, the swivel chair rolling simulation experiment was carried out in the laboratory to confirm whether the floor lock system is reliable.

Another factor that affects the quality of LVT flooring is wear and tear. As we often see, the surface coating of inexpensive products quickly wears out. Coatings of 20 mil thickness are an industry practice. Some manufacturers will set higher, but the key is that damage caused by too thin wear layer may cause other problems. For high-end vinyl flooring, appearance issues are critical because vinyl materials are easily damaged by heavy pressure, scratches, and the like. The installer must be careful to use it.

Another very important factor is the environment in which the LVT floor is installed. Vinyl flooring is highly susceptible to heat and cold and may expand or contract, so the floor-mounted environment must be relatively controllable.
