GB/T 4085-2015, this is a new standard in the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) industry that has just begun implementation in 2016.

But this standard is not new, and its previous generation standard was finalized in 2005. Pay attention to the "semi-hard" here! Basically equal to "soft".

This so-called "semi-rigid polyvinyl chloride" refers to floor leather, PVC self-adhesive flooring and various soft PVC flooring. Although the coverage is already large, there are still two ”hard” mainstream products that are not included: SPC rigid core flooring and WPC vinyl flooring.

SPC and WPC flooring are still fresh in China, but from a world perspective, SPC and WPC have been used for many years in Europe and the United States, and many large public spaces and commercial applications in China have already been applied. But in the home field, there are really not many.

Before 2015, China's flooring market is still not able to take the SPC and WPC battles, and the real market space is the last one to two years. And it is still used in commercial areas higher than home as residential vinyl flooring. Although there are not many domestic applications, there are many companies in China that specialize in producing SPC and WPC exports to developed countries in Europe and America.
